Tipping Etiquette
Restaurants
They don't tip much in the country; most locals leave nothing at all on meals during the day, so just leave a few coins; at night in a nice restaurant tip 5-8% in cash.
Hotels
Most have a basket at the front counter where you can leave a few dollars a day for the whole staff; porters - $1-2/bag; you might give a concierge $5 if he goes out of his way for you.
Guides & Drivers
Tip guides $15-20/day and drivers 60-70% of that; in taxis, you can round up the fare but you don't have to.
Dollars Accepted?
Yes, and euros too, but if you're tipping folks who don't regularly deal with tourists, tip in Estonian kroons.
